Family-Oriented, Gentle Dental Care
As a dentist, I thrive on the relationships that develop between my patients and me. It’s a great feeling to help someone I genuinely care about to achieve optimal oral health and a smile that’s beautiful and confident.
Whether I’m helping a patient out of pain, restoring function, improving a smile, or providing a fun “first visit” for a child, my focus is always on that person. I think it’s important, as a dentist, to understand a patient’s goals and any concerns they might have. Open, clear communication allows me to provide each patient with the right treatment approach that fits what they desire.
During visits, I spend a lot of time listening to and talking with patients. Our conversations create a bond of trust and help patients learn that I have their best interests at heart.
Our Team and Practice
We have a remarkable team at Pearly Whites. Each team member has their own passions and skills and, together, we’re able to offer patients a dental experience that keeps them smiling. As a family-oriented office, we strive to make every visit positive and upbeat, and to care for each patient as we would a family member.
Education and Continuing Education
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine – Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry
I think now is the best time to be practicing dentistry. We’re able to provide comfortable, advanced treatments that deliver lasting results. Every day, new technologies and techniques are being developed, which strengthen a dentist’s ability to successfully and painlessly improve a patient’s oral health.
During the year I complete many hours of continuing dental education. By staying at the forefront of advances in the field, I ensure our patients have access to the best options, most comfortable care, and most amazing results.
My father served in the U.S. Air Force, so I moved around a lot when I was growing up; I lived both here in the U.S. and overseas. My wife Melinda and I, along with our children, have called Albuquerque home for several years and love it here. Our family has four children — two girls and two boys — as well as a rescue dog.
When I’m not working, my priority is time with my family, especially camping and traveling with them. I also enjoy being out in the mountains and spending time on my road bike. In addition, I’m active in cub scouts and our church, and I volunteer at the Roadrunner Food Bank.
